About Us
“Vertify was set up in 1986 under the name ‘Proeftuin Zwaagdijk’ as a regional research location for flower bulbs and field vegetables. Since 1990, the government has gradually cut back on funding for applied research. Due to a drastic national restructuring of agricultural research, Vertify decided to continue as an independent private foundation as from 1 January 1997.”
